Team Camp Itinerary 2012

June 20, 2012

6:00am-Departure from Jackson High School Student Parking lot
8:00am-Eat breakfast at McDonald’s on 77.
9:45am(approx)-Arrive at Eastern Ohio Basketball Camp
10:00am-Registration and check in at Eastern Ohio Team Camp

June 22, 2012

11:00am(approx)-Depart Eastern Ohio Team Camp
2:30pm(approx)-Arrive at Jackson High School Student Parking Lot

What to Bring:
-Gym Shorts(multiple pairs-may wear 2 per day), T-Shirts
-Shoes-don’t bring your best basketball shoes(outside courts)
-Flip-Flops or Sandals-to wear to and in the shower and between games.
-Plenty of changes of socks and underwear
-Sheets and Pillows or Sleeping bags
-Towels, Washcloths, Toiletries, Sun Block, Bug Spray
-Optional-Money, Drinks and Snacks, Cell Phones, Ipods/MP3
-Physical Card/Emergency Medical Form From School(coaches will take care of this)
-Camp Waiver and Release form.

**I suggest to NOT bring Phones or MP3 or any other valuables.  There won’t be

much cell service, if any, and there won’t be much downtime for other electronic devices.

Monday: Open Gym: 10am-12pm

Tuesday: Open Gym: 10am-12pm; Varsity Summer League; JH Summer League @ Unioto*

Wednesday: OFF

Thursday: Open Gym: 10am-12pm

Friday: Varsity/JV Shootout @ Rio Grande*

Saturday: JV Shootout @ Vinton County*

*Itineraries for traveling shootouts and summer leagues will be passed out as the week goes on.

Week of 6/4/12 Schedule

The schedule for the week of 6/4/12 is as follows:

Monday: Open Gym, 10am-12pm

Tuesday: Open Gym, 10am-12pm; Varsity Summer League 5:45-9:00; Jr High Summer League @ Unioto*

Wednesday: OFF

Thursday: Open Gym, 10am-12pm

Friday: Varsity Shootout @ Rio Grande*; All-Night Camp, 6pm-Saturday Morning

Saturday: All-Night Camp Finish; Holzer Medical Center Free Physicals 7:30am-9:30am

Sunday: Jr. High Shootout @ Rio Grande*

*All Itineraries will be passed out this week for all traveling shootouts and summer league.

Tuesday: 7:00-8:30pm Open Gym-This will be our only activity for the week. We will start our June program next week. I will post a copy of the June Calender later this week.

Open Gym-3/29

There will be an open gym on Thursday, 3/29 at 7pm in the JHS main gym.  Anyone not currently in a spring "school sponsored" sport may attend.

3/24 State Championship Trip

All players have received a letter of information and permission form for the trip to Columbus to watch the State Championship games on Saturday, March 24.  All forms need to be returned, along with the $20 reservation fee, to Coach McKinniss by Wednesday, March 21.

9-12 Awards Ceremony

The 2011-2012 Boys Basketball Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 7:00pm in the JHS Commons.  All players, grades 9-12 are asked to attend, dressed in a shirt and tie. 

No Freshmen Game 1/31/12

Just a reminder that there will be no Freshmen game against Circleville on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.  The JV game will begin at 6:00pm.
